Early Alert Wellness and Mental Health Resources
UNLV and the Graduate College have invested in an Early Alert text messaging system that confidentially checks in with students who opt in once a week and provides free wellness and mental health resources. Early Alert asks students to reflect on their emotional, physical, cognitive, relational, academic, and financial wellness. Based on their optional text response, students will receive free, easy-to-access resources to support them and help address their concerns. Learn more and opt in.
Rebel Rebound Resource for Justice-Impacted Students
Some UNLV students face societal barriers as a result of their interaction with the criminal justice system. Having an arrest, criminal charge, or record of conviction can impact career and educational opportunities. UNLV is dedicated to providing guidance and support services that enhance the academic experience from orientation to graduation and beyond. Military and Veteran Services Center
The university's Military and Veteran Services Center assists UNLV's student veterans and active duty military members in successfully navigating the academic and administrative pathways of a college education. Learn more.
White House Executive Office of the President Internship Program
The Executive Office of the President has launched a paid internship program. The summer 2022 program, which offers opportunities in the Office of Administration and the Office of Management and Budget, begins on June 20, 2022 and ends on Aug. 12, 2022. Interns will receive a $6,000 stipend. All internships are located in Washington, D.C., and participants must
be able to commit to a minimum of 35 hours per week. Learn more.

May 2: Last Day to Submit Thesis/Dissertation Format Revisions to the Graduate College
All final, properly formatted theses, dissertations, and doctoral projects must be submitted to the Graduate College via email by the end of the day. Please see the Thesis/Dissertation Format Review page for more details.
May 2-5: Study Goodies in the Gateway Graduate Commons
During study week, the Graduate College will provide drinks, snacks, and T-shirts in the Gateway Graduate Commons from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. every day. Drop in and get your study on!
May 13: Commencement - Doctoral, Master's, Specialist, Artist Diploma, Graduate Certificates
The spring 2022 commencement ceremony for all candidates for doctoral, master’s, specialist, artist diploma degrees, and graduate certificates will be held on Friday, May 13 at 4 p.m. in the Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets are not required to attend. The ceremony will also be livestreamed. Learn more.
