Graduate student recruitment does not end when a student submits an application. Successful recruitment culminates in the admitted student enrolling in classes.
While significant time and resources are often expended for pre-application recruitment activities, post-admission decision activities are equally, if not more, important. These activities often factor into whether your most qualified candidates choose to accept your offer of admission and enroll.
Graduate College Announces 2018 Summer Doctoral Research Fellows
The Graduate College recently awarded 50 $7,000 summer doctoral research fellowships, allowing students to continue their research in the summer and progress toward the completion of their degree. Some 200 applications were received. This is the second year the Graduate College has funded this prestigious program.

Several members of the Graduate College community were recognized at UNLV’s Academic Achievement Awards ceremony and reception on April 18 and at the Graduate College awards ceremony on May 3.
The 2018-19 academic year is right around the corner, which means that our busy GA processing is here! Did you know that Ashlyn and CC, your Grad Financial Services team, process more than 1,000 GAs for our campus community each year? This means that we need your help to make sure that all GAs are processed in a timely manner, and that new GAs are properly mentored as they transition into their new roles.
