Take What You Need Events
On Feb. 2, March 23, and April 13, UNLV will offer Take What You Need events where UNLV community members can secure basic needs items such as toiletries and personal hygiene products, non-perishable food, clothing, bedding and other linens, etc. The events will take place in the Student Union from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Walk-ups are welcome, but participants are asked to anonymously identify a time slot in advance so traffic can be better managed. Nevada Science Olympiad Event Supervisors
Organizers of the Nevada Science Olympiad, which will take place at UNLV on Saturday, March 25, 2023, are looking for graduate students to serve as event supervisors. Students can serve as event supervisors for up to two events and will earn $250 per event. Learn more and sign up to be an event supervisor.

Continuous Enrollment Policy
If you are in violation of the Continuous Enrollment Policy, you may have received an email on Jan. 9 outlining next steps. Per the Graduate Catalog, "After admission to a graduate program, students must register for and complete a minimum total of six graduate credits over the current and two previous semesters (summer enrollment counts toward this minimum enrollment requirement)." If you believe you may be in violation of the Continuous Enrollment Policy, please contact grad.rpc@unlv.edu with any questions and to discuss solutions.
Feb. 21: Call for Applicants for Inspiration, Innovation, Impact: A Celebration of Graduate Student Accomplishments
The Inspiration, Innovation, Impact event is a celebration of graduate student accomplishments. Graduate students from a variety of colleges present short, five-minute, TED-style talks or performances showcasing their research, scholarship, or creative activities. This year's theme is “Power in Diversity: Unlocking Creativity and Research Together." The Graduate College invites applicants interested in presenting the work they are doing that highlights our individual and collective commitment to change. Applications and videos are due Feb. 21. March 1: Spring 2023 Graduation Application Deadline and Custom Regalia Deadline
If you’re planning to graduate this semester, the final day to submit an application for graduation through MyUNLV is March 1. If you’re graduating with a doctoral degree and would like to purchase custom academic regalia through the UNLV Bookstore, the deadline to submit an order is March 12. Learn more.
All graduate and professional students are invited to kick off the semester at an open house hosted by the Graduate & Professional Student Association and the Graduate College. Drop in between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and spin for swag. In addition, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. there will be donuts, coffee, and yogurt, and from 2-4 p.m. there will be cookies, juice, and yogurt. Learn more.
