Sept. 28: Your Public Service Loan Forgiveness Action Plan

Sept. 29: Strategies for Research in Special Collections and Archives
This workshop is for anyone planning to use unique materials in library special collections and archives either at UNLV or at another library, archive, or museum.
Participants will learn to locate where collections are held, use collection descriptions and finding aids to discover relevant material, and share tips on collecting and organizing the historical gems they uncover.

Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting Call for Applications
The Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings provide a globally recognized forum for exchange between Nobel Laureates and young scientists. Applications are being accepted from young scientists in physiology and medicine for the 72nd Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting, which will take place in the summer of 2023. Applications must be submitted by Oct. 18, 2022. Learn more about the selection process and apply today.
Graduate & Professional Student Association Cap & Gown Lending Program
The Graduate & Professional Student Association (GPSA) Cap & Gown Lending Program is available to students who may be experiencing financial hardship and would like to borrow regalia to walk at graduation.
Cap and gown rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a $40 cash deposit upon pickup ($20 will be returned to you once the cap and gown are dropped back off). This cost covers dry cleaning so the GPSA can keep the program running yearly. Learn more and submit your application.

Register for an Open Researcher and Contributor iD (ORCID)
ORCID iDs are unique identifiers for researchers that move with them throughout their career, improving visibility of their work. ORCID iDs are quickly becoming standard in academia, with many publishers now requiring them. Learn more and register.
Sept. 28: The College Tour Casting Call
UNLV is casting students for The College Tour, an Amazon Prime streaming series! Create a video that is two minutes or less that tells your story and why you love UNLV. Possible topics include: academics, athletics, housing and dining, innovation, student clubs, wellness, academic resources, outcomes, location, study abroad, campus beauty, and traditions. Videos should be submitted no later than the extended Sept. 28 deadline. Learn more and apply.
Sept. 28: Fall 2022 Graduate College Medallion Deadline
If you're graduating this semester and you've been involved in Graduate College programming during your time as a graduate student, you might be eligible for the Graduate College Medallion to wear at commencement. The Graduate College Medallion program honors exceptionally involved and high-achieving students. Learn more.
Oct. 1: Fall 2022 Graduation Application Deadline and Custom Regalia Deadline
If you’re planning to graduate this semester, the final day to submit an application for graduation through MyUNLV is Oct. 1. If you’re graduating with a doctoral degree and would like to purchase custom academic regalia through the UNLV Bookstore, the deadline to submit an order is Oct. 20. Learn more.
Oct. 5: Sam Lieberman Regents’ Award for Student Scholarship
UNLV and the Nevada System of Higher Education Board of Regents are accepting nominations of graduate students for the Sam Lieberman Regents' Award for Student Scholarship, which recognizes distinguished academic accomplishments, leadership ability, and service contributions. Nominations are due Oct. 5. Learn more.
Sept. 27: Asian American Native American Pacific Islander Graduate School Conversations Panel: Finding My Purpose and Using My Community Cultural Wealth
