The Writing Center Has Options to Fit Your Busy Schedule
Is it difficult to get to campus for an appointment? Or do you simply not have the time?

For distance learners, or those needing a little more convenience, the Writing Center offers virtual appointments through Google Meet. Similar to an in-person appointment, Writing Center consultants can provide you with writing advice and feedback for 45 minutes when you schedule a virtual appointment. This is also a great option if the Writing Center’s regular open hours do not match up with your schedule. These virtual sessions are held from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, and 12 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

Additionally, the Writing Center offers an asynchronous service called the Online Writing Lab (OWL). When you submit to the OWL, a Writing Center consultant will provide comments, writing advice, and revision suggestions on your document. The OWL is a great way to receive general feedback for completed drafts when you are pressed for time. OWL submissions are open Sunday through Friday.

Check out the Writing Center’s Instagram and Facebook accounts for writing advice and announcements.
