COM Lab Offers Public Speaking Guidance
UNLV's new COM Lab offers help refining, developing, and practicing speeches with experienced coaches. The COM Lab has locations on the fourth floor of
Greenspun Hall and in the Academic Success Center. The COM Lab offers consultations Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3-5 p.m. and Thursdays from 2-5 p.m. In the Greenspun location, the COM Lab has Whisper Rooms that allow students the privacy to practice speeches and presentations in a noise-proof environment free from distractions. Thesis/Dissertation Office Hours
Getting ready to submit your final thesis or dissertation? Please remember that your document must be formatted appropriately; you can find the guidelines and additional information here. Students with questions about their thesis or dissertation can take advantage of the Graduate College's thesis and dissertation office hours every Tuesday and Thursday from 12-2 p.m.

UNLV Food Pantry
Since 2010, the UNLV Food Pantry has been providing non-perishable items to university students, staff, and faculty who need additional food. The Food Pantry is located at 4646 S. University Center Drive (the intersection of S. University Center Drive and E. Naples Drive). The Food Pantry also accepts monetary and non-perishable food donations. You can make a financial donations

Dec. 5: Last Day to Register for 2022 Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp
Today, Dec. 5, is the last day to apply for the 2022 Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp.The Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp is a week-long program that provides graduate students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become more efficient and successful writers. It also provides students with the opportunity to learn about the different types of writing groups as well as how to successfully start and maintain their own writing group. The program is a collaborative effort between the Graduate College, UNLV Libraries, and UNLV Writing Center. Dec. 6: Last Day to Submit the Culminating Experience Results
Dec. 6 is the last day to submit the culminating experience results forms for students not completing a thesis, dissertation, or doctoral project. Learn more.

Dec. 6 is the last day to submit thesis/dissertation format revisions to the Graduate College. All final, properly formatted theses, dissertations, and doctoral projects must be submitted to the Graduate College via email by the end of the day. Each fall and spring, the Graduate College hosts a reception in celebration of the semester's graduating doctoral candidates. The Doctoral Recognition Ceremony is held in addition to the university Commencement Ceremony and does not replace it. This semester, the Doctoral Recognition Ceremony will take place on Dec. 13 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Student Union Ballroom. All graduates who attend the event will be awarded the UNLV Doctoral Honor Cord to be worn at commencement. Students are hooded at commencement. Learn more.
