Writing Center Available to Graduate Students
The Writing Center offers a variety of services to assist all graduate students with their classwork, thesis writing, conference papers, and even CVs/resumes. Below are some of the ways that students can get feedback from one of the Writing Center consultants:
Schedule an in-person or virtual consultation to talk with a consultant about your paper. You don’t even need to have anything already written!
Submit to the Online Writing Lab to receive written feedback on your paper within a couple of days.
Ask a quick question by stopping by CDC Building 3, emailing or sending a chat at writingcenter@unlv.edu, or calling (702) 895-3908.
Check out the Writing Center website for more information and to find handouts and workshops that will help you with your writing.
Graduate students who use the Writing Center services for the first time may have difficulty making an appointment since they will need to be manually added to the system. Students having trouble should email their name and NSHE number to writingcenter@unlv.edu or call 702-895-3908. A profile will be quickly created for them. Once this is done, they will be able to schedule future appointments through the Campus Connect system without any issue.
