Free Wall Street Journal Access for UNLV Students
UNLV has partnered with the Wall Street Journal to provide a free WSJ subscription to all UNLV students, faculty, and staff. The Wall Street Journal is a global leader in news and information and a multiple-time Pulitzer Prize winner in journalism. All subscriptions include curated podcasts and newsletters as well as insights on big career and financial decisions. Learn more.

May 6: Thesis/Dissertation/Doctoral Project Submissions Due
May 6 is the last day for electronic submission of final thesis/dissertation/doctoral projects (with formatting pre-approved by the Graduate College) to ProQuest. After your format has been approved, you will receive instructions to upload along with your approval page. Learn more.

May 9: Music and Brain Health
11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m., Lee and Thomas Beam Music Center, Dr. Arturo Rando-Grillot Recital Hall
This event will showcase the talents of singer/songwriter Chadwick Johnson, UNLV's expert on auditory perception and cognition Joel Snyder, and advocate for lifelong learning Niels Clyde. The day will feature performances by the OLLI at UNLV’s Ukulele group and the esteemed UNLV Jazz Ensemble. After the performances, join us in a panel discussion to explore the intricate link between music and cognitive health, with insights from Dr. Joel Snyder, Dr. Kate Zhong, Chadwick Johnson, David Loeb of UNLV Jazz, and Dr. Rob Levrant. May 13: Life Sciences Pitch Competition

Join the UNLV School of Integrated Health Sciences and the UNLV Office of Economic Development for UNLV Innovation Day. This event is open to faculty and student innovators that might have an invention or new technology that will advance the field of Life Science. May 14: 17th Annual NIH Career Symposium

Join the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for this multi-day event designed to highlight a variety of career paths available to biomedical researchers. This events will feature nine panelists and talks exploring where PhD biomedical researchers work, the current hiring trends in various sectors, and the job search for international scientists.
