Check Out UNLV's Registered Student Organizations
Keeping up with coursework and a social life as a graduate student is difficult, but it's also important in maintaining a balanced lifestyle. One way to maintain this balance while at UNLV is by joining a registered student organization (RSO). UNLV has more than 350 RSOs that encompass a variety of different interests, activities, and beliefs. You can learn more about RSOs.
There are even two graduate registered student organizations (GRSOs): the Black Graduate Student Association (BGSA) and the Latinx Graduate Student Association (LGSA). If interested, email the BGSA or email the LGSA to learn more. The Graduate College offers designated space in the Gateway Building for GRSOs to host meetings and events. If you are interested in creating a GRSO or registering an existing one, email Dr. Valarie Burke.
