Nov. 12: Rebel Grad Slam 3-Minute Thesis Competition Application - Extended Deadline!
Think you can present your research in just three minutes using one slide? Participate in the Graduate College's Rebel Grad Slam 3-Minute Thesis Competition, where graduate students compete to win over the judges and audience for a chance at scholarship money. This year's weeklong competition will take place Nov. 27-Dec. 1. Learn more and apply by the extended Nov. 12 deadline.
Nov. 27: Minority-Serving Institution Student Council Application Deadline
The UNLV Minority-Serving Institution Student Council (MSISC) is accepting applications from students interested in serving on the MSISC beginning January 2024. A student-centered and student-led group of undergraduate and graduate students, the MSISC is primarily focused on advocating for, creating, and investing in initiatives, policies, practices, and programs aligned with UNLV's status as a Minority-Serving Institution. MSISC members receive a stipend to serve on the council. Apply by Nov. 27.
Dec. 1: 2024-25 Scholarship and Fellowship Application Deadline
Graduate students can submit applications for merit-based scholarships and fellowships for the 2024-25 academic year until Dec. 1 through the Grad Rebel Gateway. Learn more.
Dec. 22: Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp Application Deadline
The Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp assists students working on major writing pieces, including theses, dissertations, and publications. The January 2024 Grad Rebel Writing Boot Camp will take place Jan. 8-12. Log in to the Grad Rebel Gateway and click on The Grad Academy tab to apply by Dec. 22. Learn more.
